March income grows by 8.3% in Russia

According to Rosstat, Russia’s Federal State Statistics Service, real disposable income of Russians grew by 8.3 per cent in March 2013 against 2012, and by 2.3 per cent against February 2013.

The average monthly wage totalled 28,400 rubles ($900).

The report also says that unemployment went down by two per cent or 85 000 people, against February indicators.

The overall unemployment in March 2013 accounts for 5.7 per cent of the economically active population, or 4.2 million people.
